Junior Web Developer Platform Team

We are JATAPP, an IT company building products used by millions of users worldwide. Our portfolio already includes 20+ diverse products exclusively in white-label niches: Business, Utilities, Lifestyle, Cybersecurity, Education, and we are actively expanding into e-commerce and web. And there's even more to come!

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our Platform team. You will work with a modern tech stack and agile processes. You will also have the opportunity to interact with different products and expand your expertise in different domains.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Setting up basic events in analytics (GA, Appsflyer, Amplitude and others)

• Fixing bugs and maintaining existing code

• Writing basic unit tests

• Participating in code review: receiving and applying feedback

• Writing and maintaining technical documentation

• Participating in daily dailies, refinement meetings

What you’ll need:

• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (semantic markup, flexbox / grid)

• Basic JavaScript (ES6+): variables, functions, arrays, objects, DOM

• Basic knowledge of one of the frameworks: React or Vue.js (basic level)

• Understanding the principles of responsive design

• Basic Git: clone, commit, push, pull, branching

• Ability to read and understand other people's code

• Basic understanding of REST API

• Ability to ask questions and ask for help in a timely manner

• Openness to feedback and willingness to apply it

• Self-organization skills: ability to plan your time and meet deadlines

• Ability to communicate effectively in a team

Will be a plus:

• Experience or understanding of the BackEnd part of websites

• Experience with TypeScript at a basic level

• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (SCSS / SASS)

• Experience with Figma (ability to read layouts)

• Own pet projects or open repositories on GitHub

• Courses completed (freeCodeCamp, The Odin Project, Mate Academy, etc.)
