Payroll Accountant

We are an IT company, JATAPP, creating products that are used by millions of users from all over the world. Our portfolio already includes 20+ different products exclusively in white niches: Business, Utilities, Lifestyle, Cybersecurity, and Education, and we are actively expanding into e-commerce and web. And there's even more to come!

We are looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our finance team.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Payroll management: data collection, calculation, payment processing

• Payroll transactions display in Xero (journal entries, allocations)

• Compensation and benefits process management - calculation and payment processing

• Creating a Salary Report

• Participation in the process of automation and optimization of payroll calculation and accounting

• Consulting contractors on payments

• Maintaining financial records for your area of ​​responsibility: banking transactions, postings, accruals, expense classification

• Monthly closing: reconciliations, adjustments, data preparation for reporting

• Controlling the correctness of accounting and primary documents

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of experience in payroll management

• Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems

• Understanding the principles of accrual accounting

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic formulas)

• Experience with banking operations

• Attention to detail and meticulousness

• Structural thinking and organization

• Proactive in suggesting ideas for automation and process optimization

• English at the level of working with documentation and interfaces

Will be a plus:

• Experience in IT or E-commerce companies

• Experience in accounting automation

• Understanding unit economics / financial metrics

• Knowledge of basic IFRS rules

• Experience in month-end close (accruals, prepayments, reconciliations)
