PHP Developer (Laravel)

We are an IT company JATAPP, creating products that are used by millions of users from all over the world. Our portfolio already includes 20+ different products exclusively in white niches: Business, Utilities, Lifestyle, Cybersecurity, and Education. And even more to come! 

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join the company's internal product and service development team. If you have commercial experience with PHP (Laravel), have worked with REST API, databases, and caching, are product-oriented, and strive to influence the quality and stability of solutions rather than simply completing tasks, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Development and implementation of backend functionality from concept to release, taking into account the company's business goals

• Writing clean, secure, and maintainable code in compliance with testing and technical documentation standards

• Participation in the full software development lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, and support

• Collaboration with product teams and cross-functional departments to implement solutions and resolve integration issues

• Analyzing and resolving technical issues (with a focus on root cause elimination) and ensuring the stable operation of products and services

What you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of commercial experience as a PHP developer

• Proficiency in PHP 7/8, with experience working with the Laravel framework

• Experience working with MySQL/Postrgres (query optimization), Redis

• Experience working with RabbitMQ queueing systems

• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs

• Experience with Composer for managing dependencies in PHP projects

• Understanding of caching and optimization strategies (Redis, CDN, query optimization)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with payment gateways and third-party service integration

• Experience with containerization using Docker for development and deployment

• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)

• Experience writing modular, integration, and end-to-end tests (PHPUnit, Pest, Mockery)
