Site Reliability Engineer

We are an IT company, JATAPP, creating products that are used by millions of users from all over the world. Our portfolio already includes 20+ different products exclusively in white niches: Business, Utilities, Lifestyle, Cybersecurity, and Education.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our largest product — a cross-platform VPN service. Our product already helps over 10 million users worldwide meet their cybersecurity needs.

Your responsibilities will be:
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management: using tools like Ansible, Salt, Terraform, and similar to provision and update infrastructure
• Stack configuration and support: implementing monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
• Designing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining networks, public cloud environments, and internal tools
• Participating in the lifecycle management of Linux systems
• Automating infrastructure management using IaC tools
• Supporting, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure
• System analysis, incident response, and troubleshooting
• Maintaining infrastructure according to the highest security standards

What you’ll need:
• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a related role (e.g., Network Engineer, Network Architect, DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Nagios)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools — Terraform, Ansible
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and optimization (Debian, Ubuntu; performance tuning, troubleshooting)
• Deep understanding of networking and security concepts (VPN, proxy technologies, firewall rules, iptables, iproute2, SSL/TLS encryption)
• Solid troubleshooting and incident response skills in high-availability production environments

Nice to Have:
• In-depth knowledge of VPN protocols: OpenVPN, IPsec, IKEv2/IPsec, and WireGuard
• Understanding of advanced networking concepts that impact VPN performance and routing between global data centers
