Chief Financial Officer

We're looking for a strong, proactive Chief Financial Officer to become a strategic partner to the CEO and C-level leadership, helping the company scale its product business in a sustainable and efficient way
The CFO will be responsible for building and developing the company's finance function: from strategic planning and product portfolio profitability management to building transparent financial processes and a reliable payment infrastructure. This role combines strategic leadership with strong operational execution, spanning portfolio-level decisions and unit economics through to finance automation and international corporate structure management.
The ideal candidate thinks in terms of profitability, margin, and long-term business value - combining financial discipline with strategic business thinking to help the company make the decisions that matter most.
Your responsibilities will be:
➢ Strategic Financial Management
Strategic financial partnership with CEO and C-level executives in key business decision-making, scaling, and product portfolio development
Shaping the company's financial strategy and defining investment priorities across products and business lines
Evaluating the financial performance of the product portfolio and providing recommendations on investment optimization and product development
Optimizing capital allocation and investment efficiency across products and business lines
Providing management insights and recommendations on cost efficiency and resource utilization at the product and business unit level
➢ Financial Planning & Analytics
Development and management of the financial planning and budgeting system at the company, product, and business unit levels
Financial forecasting and scenario modeling for business development (best / base / worst)
Development and effective management of financial and management analytics functions, and the key financial metrics system for monitoring product and business unit performance
Supporting CEO and C-level decision-making based on variance analysis and key business metrics
Development of unit economics system and product financial metrics as a foundation for performance evaluation and managerial decision-making
Monitoring the execution of financial plans and product performance across different lifecycle stages (MVP, scale, support), and initiating managerial decisions to improve financial efficiency
➢ Financial Function Management
Development and management of the finance team (FP&A, control, tax, treasury, accounting, payroll)
Management of the billing team and development of effective collaboration between the billing and finance functions and other departments
Ensuring the scalability and effectiveness of the finance function in line with business growth
Transparent, timely, and clear management reporting for company leadership
Development of financial processes, policies, and internal controls
Shaping tax strategy and optimizing the tax burden across the group of companies
Development of the financial control system and ensuring audit readiness
Automation of financial processes and improving the operational efficiency of the finance function
➢ Liquidity & Payment Infrastructure
Developing and implementing an effective liquidity and cash flow management strategy for the group of companies
Managing foreign exchange risks and optimizing the currency structure of cash flows
Development and maintenance of global payment infrastructure (merchant accounts, banks, and payment providers) in collaboration with the billing team
Stability and efficiency of financial operations
➢ Business Partnership
Financial business partnering with product teams and business units on business plan execution and variance analysis
Financial support for business team decision-making based on financial models and analytics
Effective collaboration between finance, product, marketing, and other departments
Building and maintaining strategic relationships with external stakeholders (investors, banks, financial institutions, auditors, and key partners)
What you’ll need:
Expertise in strategic financial management, including financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling for business development
Experience working with multiple legal entities in an international structure and managing finances at the group of companies level
Hands-on experience with international financial reporting (IFRS or US GAAP)
Deep understanding of liquidity management, inter-company cash flow optimization, and foreign exchange risks
Involvement in shaping the company's financial and tax strategy
Management of the finance function and team (FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, or related areas)
Practical understanding of payment infrastructure (merchant accounts, billing, banks, and payment providers)
Financial performance analysis of products or business units, with preparation of management recommendations
Participation in strategic planning, investment management, or product portfolio development
Experience in building and/or transforming financial processes, automation, and improving management reporting systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to support managerial decision-making based on financial data
Ability to act as a driver of business financial efficiency and proactively initiate changes based on financial analysis
Professional financial certification (ACCA, DipIFR, CPA, or equivalent) will be an advantage
