Middle PHP Developer (Laravel)

We are an IT company, JATAPP, creating products that are used by millions of users from all over the world. Our portfolio already includes 20+ different products exclusively in white niches: Business, Utilities, Lifestyle, Cybersecurity, and Education.

We’re looking for a Middle PHP Developer to join our service team responsible for building internal services and modules used by dozens of product teams. You’ll work on APIs, integrations, and service logic that form the technical foundation of the entire company.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Development and implementation backend functionality from concept to launch in alignment with business objectives

• Writing clean, secure, and scalable code following testing and documentation standards

• Active participation in all stages of development, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment

• Collaboration with product teams and other departments to deliver high-quality solutions and resolve integration challenges

• Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain best engineering practices

• Identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting product-related issues

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in backend development with a strong focus on PHP 7/8 (Laravel)

• Experience with relational databases (MySQL), caching systems (Redis/Memcache), and queues (RabbitMQ)

• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs

• Experience using Composer for dependency management in PHP projects

• Solid understanding of Linux environments and basic shell scripting

• Product-oriented mindset and the ability to think in terms of company-wide efficiency

Will be a plus:

• Experience working with payment gateways and third-party integrations

• Experience with containerization (Docker)

• Practical experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)

• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (PHPUnit, Pest, Mockery)

• Experience working with PostgreSQL
