Middle QA Engineer

We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer for our project in the Utilities niche. Our applications help users to automate and optimize their processes during work, studying or in private life. 

Your responsibilities will be:

• Release Quality Control & Testing: Full-cycle testing of product and technical tasks for the iOS app version and Web

• Deep Validation of Analytics & Payments: Testing subscriptions, in-app purchases, integrations with payment systems, and validating extensive analytics (events, parameters, sequencing) in Amplitude

• Process Proactivity: Generating ideas to improve the testing process and optimize the number of tracked events in collaboration with the Product Analyst

• Documentation Management: Creating and maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases) using the Testomat.io tool

• Team Collaboration: Daily communication regarding tasks in Jira/Slack, participating in planning sessions, brainstorms, and demos

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of experience in iOS mobile application testing

• Deep understanding of mobile QA processes, platform-specific guidelines, and the mobile app lifecycle

• Proficiency in proxy testing tools: practical experience with ProxyMan (knowledge of Charles or Wireshark is a plus)

• Experience with product analytics: event testing in Amplitude

• Hands-on experience in testing subscriptions, in-app purchases, and various payment scenarios

• Basic experience with backend testing (API, Postman)

• Experience with task/bug tracking systems (Jira, Confluence)

• Strong attention to detail, ability to identify flaky scenarios and non-obvious edge cases under dynamic deadlines

• Team-player mindset, flexibility in communication, and the ability to describe bugs clearly and constructively

• English level: B1+
