Technical Head of Product

We are looking for an experienced Head of Product / Product Owner with a strong technical background to lead a brand-new product direction within the company: a Hardware + AI product at the intersection of a physical device, a mobile application, and AI/LLM pipelines.
Why is this opportunity exciting?
An ambitious AI product in a rapidly growing category. Building a next-generation solution for recording, processing, and transforming conversations into structured knowledge, decisions, tasks, and actionable next steps. The product combines speech-to-text (STT), speaker diarization, AI-powered summarization, customizable templates, transcript-based chat, and personalized use cases for both work and everyday life.
A true 0→1 opportunity. The project is currently in the pre-launch stage, offering the chance to build the product and establish core processes from the ground up.
High level of ownership and impact. This is the only technical product role on the company side, with the opportunity to shape both the product vision and the technical architecture.
Fast decision-making. Working directly with the founder, with minimal bureaucracy and the ability to quickly turn ideas into product features.
Key Responsibilities
Leading product development by preparing technical specifications and feature requirements, managing and prioritizing the backlog, planning sprints, coordinating the outsourced development team, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Designing user journeys and UX flows for key product features—from audio recording to AI-generated outputs.
Building PoCs and MVPs independently using AI development tools (such as Claude Code and Cursor) to rapidly validate product and technical hypotheses.
Defining and evolving the product's AI capabilities, including working with STT solutions, LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, AI summarization, and transcript-based Q&A.
Overseeing the product's technical architecture, ensuring seamless interaction between the backend, mobile application, and wearable device, while proactively identifying technical risks.
Participating in technical decision-making and validating architectural proposals from the external development team.
Ensuring product stability after release through monitoring, incident management, SLA oversight, and compliance with security and data privacy requirements (GDPR).
Requirements
Commercial experience in Backend or Mobile Software Engineering, along with 2–3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a similar role.
Strong technical expertise in AWS and microservices architecture, with the ability to read code (Python, TypeScript, Dart, or similar technologies) and actively participate in architectural discussions.
Hands-on experience building PoCs and MVPs independently to validate product and technical hypotheses.
Practical experience working with AI/LLMs, including APIs, prompt engineering, output evaluation, and AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
Solid understanding of mobile development processes (Flutter or React Native) and the iOS/Android release lifecycle.
Experience working with outsourced or distributed engineering teams as the sole Product Manager on the client side.
Nice to Have
Experience with BLE/IoT technologies or launching hardware products.
Experience with AI-powered audio solutions (STT, transcription, voice technologies, or call analytics).
Knowledge of GDPR requirements related to audio data processing.
Experience using Figma for wireframing, user flows, and usability testing.
Experience building 0→1 products or previous founder experience.
