Technical Product Manager

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager for a new direction: a hardware + AI product at the intersection of a wearable device, a mobile application, and AI pipelines.

This is a key technical position with direct impact on product and architectural strategy, involving full ownership of the development process and active participation in selecting technological solutions.

This role is for someone excited about building products from scratch, influencing technical decisions, and working hands-on with specifications, architecture, and code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Management: managing backlog, prioritizing features, and planning sprints

• Writing technical specifications and defining clear requirements for the team

• Scope control,ensuring product quality and stability across releases

• Hardware Component: Define requirements for BLE protocols (services, characteristics, commands), OTA updates, and data exchange between device and mobile application

• Work with AI functionality (STT, LLM) and maintaining output quality

• Contributing to UX: user flows, wireframes, and overall user experience improvements

• Identifying risks and manage integrations between product components

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical PM or Product Owner

• Experience owning a product end-to-end as a single PM

• Experience working with distributed teams

• Writing technical specifications (DOCX / Confluence)

• Ability to read code at the level of code review

• Experience designing UX flows in Figma (wireframes, user flows)

• Understanding of mobile development (iOS/Android, Flutter, or React Native)

Hardware / BLE / IoT

• Hands-on experience with BLE devices

• Experience with OTA firmware updates, telemetry, and file transfer between device and mobile

• Ability to discuss BLE protocols with firmware vendors at the specification level

AI / STT / LLM

• Hands-on experience with STT services (Whisper, Deepgram, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs, Azure Speech, or similar) and evaluating output quality (WER, diarization)

• Practical experience with LLM features in production: prompt engineering, output evaluation, model selection

• Understanding of AI cost structure (tokens, latency, caching strategies)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with voice/audio products

• Experience launching hardware / IoT products from prototype to production

• Understanding of GDPR in the context of audio data and PII

• Experience with e-commerce and subscription monetization (Stripe, Shopify, App Store IAP, Google Play Billing)

• Use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) in daily PM work
